What is the Go Solar Power Difference?

NEM 3.0 Savings

Under NEM 3.0, exporting solar energy to the grid earns a lower compensation, making it more beneficial to store surplus energy for future use instead of selling it back. To maximize your solar investment, tap into stored energy during periods of peak demand.

Battery and Solar Packs

Decrease your reliance on the grid with a battery solution tailored to reduce monthly utility costs while providing backup during outages and rolling blackouts. This not only safeguards your home but also supports a cleaner, more sustainable environment.

Know Before You Go Solar:

Debunked:

Despite the adjustments brought by NEM 3.0, homeowners with solar systems still enjoy lower electricity costs compared to those fully dependent on utility power. By cutting monthly expenses and reducing reliance on fluctuating utility rates, solar power continues to be a smart financial investment.

Debunking the Myth:

By storing surplus energy in a battery, homeowners can tap into that power during peak hours when utility rates are at their highest, further decreasing their dependence on the grid. A battery also provides backup power during outages, enhancing both the system’s value and energy security. With NEM 3.0’s reduced export rates, storing and utilizing your own energy becomes even more advantageous, allowing you to maximize the benefits of your solar system while minimizing your reliance on utility power.

A solar battery not only helps you save more on energy costs but also gives you greater control over when and how you use your electricity. This added flexibility shields you from unpredictable utility prices, making solar plus storage a more compelling financial decision.

Debunking the Myth:

Increase Your Home’s Value with Solar Power

Installing solar panels can boost your property’s value by an average of $15,000. This increase is driven by the appeal of energy savings and greater independence from utility companies, making solar-powered homes more desirable to prospective buyers.

Sell Your Home Faster with Solar

Homes equipped with solar panels not only increase in value but also tend to sell more quickly. As more buyers prioritize energy efficiency and long-term savings, solar-powered properties stand out in the competitive real estate market.

Debunking the Myth:

Accurately sizing your solar system is essential to optimizing energy savings and achieving the right balance for your electricity needs. A properly sized system will produce enough power to meet your household’s consumption, minimizing reliance on utility energy and maximizing your solar investment. If your system is too small, you may still need to buy a significant amount of electricity from the grid, which can limit your savings. Conversely, an oversized system could generate excess energy that may not provide a good return, especially with NEM 3.0’s lower export rates.

The key to effective system sizing is matching your energy production with your consumption to maximize both independence and financial benefits. This is why it’s important to partner with experienced professionals who can evaluate your specific energy usage and recommend the ideal solar solution for your home.

12/2025: My solar panels greatly underproduce energy. It was a mistake to install Solar panels. I won't get paid back for 20+ years. 1/2023:Go Solar was great through the entire process. From design, to install, to operation. My system has been producing since Jan 23 & is providing approx what was promised. Justin my salesperson has been awesome with support & questions. Only glitch, a solar panel breaker tripped while we were away, so no production for a while.
Response from the owner:Thank you Danny for your kind review! We value and appreciate your business!

Go Solar recently completed installations of our 18-kW roof-top solar and two Tesla Powerwall3 batteries (27 kWh). We are very happy with the service provided by Go Solar, and the relatively short time they took to complete the project in spite of the unnecessary delays caused by inefficient Town inspection process. The cost of the project was also very reasonable. The system is running well and our electrical bill has already reduced to almost nothing.

Our go-to-person at Go Solar was Richard Astern. Richard is very professional and easy to work with. He was involved throughout our project promptly answering any question I have had. In fact, the first call I made to Go Solar was on a Friday, just before 5 PM. Richard picked up the phone and spent quite a bit of time going over the conceptual design. He visited our home a couple of days later to finalized the system requirements. If you are looking to get solar, I would highly recommend that you call Richard.

Nataly Lara was Go Solar’s project manager, who was also very responsive and helpful. I was also very impressed by the electrical technician, Adolfo, who worked long hours, and on weekends, to complete the installation quickly.

Go Solar Power was top notch from start to finish. I have had solar in the past so I understood installation and function, and had a higher level of expectation from being a solar user, and this company did not disappoint. They were very informative from the beginning, leaving nothing for me to be concerned with. They did what they promised. They delivered and installed as promised. The system has been fantastic from the moment it went live. I still have to learn the programming of the Tesla Batteries for most efficient use and max savings, but even that is very easy to monitor and Go Solar Power has been there every step of the way helping me to learn best way to program. One of the best Vendor experiences I have ever had. This is a great company. I would refer them to anyone wanting solar.

Go solar was a great company to work with and Richard Astern was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. He was always available whenever we had a question . They got the permits , HOA approval and completed the job ahead of the promised time. There technicians were very knowledgeable and courteous . They showed up when promised and completed the job in a timely manner. I really appreciated working with Richard Astern and Nataly Lara. I would highly recommend this company and Richard Astern. It was a great process and greatly appreciated not having a salesman trying to pressure into a commitment.
